Why the tiers exist, stories heat, the $2 → $4 → $8 → $10 Kronie ladder, and how the rest of the site works.

• Why are there different tiers?+

  DJSKPromo is built so everyone can listen, watch, and hang — then unlock more as they invest in the movement. Supporter (free): Come in, read the feed, like/repost, Connect/Support people, DM people you’re connected with, and watch Main Chat. No pressure — entertainment first. Basic ($1/mo): You’re building a home here — profile, themes, Now playing, posts, notifications, and write in Main Chat. Topic & city rooms stay with Kronie. Kronie (Tier 1 $2/mo now; later waves $4 → $8 → $10): You’re in the fanbase. Full chat (Main + topic & city rooms), stories, albums, Kronies hub, connection groups. The platform feels low-priced because you’re in the early Tier 1 wave — later joiners pay more. Creative tools / house-push portal is being built out and is not open for new signups yet. Street Team: Limited free Basic+Kronie seats for people who push the brand with their network. We stack it this way on purpose: free to support and watch, early-bird cheap to belong, Kronie to go all-in. Early loyalty matters more than big prices. • What’s included in each tier?+

  Supporter (free): read feed, like/repost, Connect/Support, DM people you’re connected with, watch Main Chat. Basic ($1/mo): profile, private profile option, 10 themes, Now playing, newsfeed posts, likes/hashtags, notifications, write in Main Chat (topic & city rooms are Kronie). Kronie (Tier 1 $2/mo now; later waves $4 → $8 → $10): everything in Basic + full chat (Main + topic & city), stories, photo albums, Kronies hub / Wall of Love, connection groups, unlimited invites. Supporters can still invite (15/day, 30/month, max 10 pending) — paid plans remove those caps. Invite Elite: each month the top 3 by accepted joins get special chat flair & GIFs. Supporters unlock Basic for the month; Basics unlock Kronie; Kronies get Elite+ flair. Street Team: approved members get full Basic+Kronie perks free (limited seats).

• Does signing up for free actually help?+

  Yes. Even a free Supporter account helps rebuild @DJShayKapone’s email / fan database from the ground up. Over the years, thousands of fans were lost across multiple platforms — lists got wiped, accounts got locked, and people who used to get updates simply vanished from the roster. Starting over means every real signup matters. When you create an account here, you’re not “just browsing.” You’re saying you’re still in the house — so we can reach you again with music, shows, and community, without depending on someone else’s algorithm to decide if you see it. Paid plans fuel the platform harder. Free signup still counts: it grows the list, proves the fanbase is real, and helps put those lost connections back together. Invite friends if you can — every join helps.

• What is Invite Elite?+

  Each month the top 3 members by accepted invite joins become Invite Elite for the next month. • Supporters unlock Basic + Elite chat (flair + GIFs) • Basics unlock Kronie + Elite chat perks • Kronies / Street / Musicians keep their plan and get Elite+ flair & GIFs Rank is by people who actually signed up (not invites sent). • Who are Tier 1 Kronies — and why does it matter?+

  Why the platform feels “low” priced right now: you’re Tier 1. Tier 1 Kronies are the first ones to pay and help support the platform — your few dollars a month are real fuel that helps DJSKPromo take off, in exchange for entertainment, community, and site perks. Join price ladder (monthly) + sitewide merch & ticket discounts on djskpromo.com: • Tier 1 — first 1,000 Kronies: $2/mo · 15% off retail • Tier 2 — next 5,000 fans: $4/mo (2× Tier 1) · 10% off retail • Tier 3 — next 10,000 fans: $8/mo · 5% off retail • After Tier 3 fills — new joiners: $10/mo standard join (no Tier 1–3 seat) Join in the first 1,000 and lock Tier 1 forever on your signup email with your first paid month — one-time or recurring. Recurring is not required to keep the seat. You lock both the $2/mo rate and the 15% discount. That seat is grandfathered until 1,000 people have paid — later price hikes for new people don’t bump you up. Staying subscribed still helps build a strong fanbase and keeps full site perks on; cancel anytime, but lapsed plans mean limited entertainment perks (and Musician profiles go hidden). • What does “grandfathering” mean?+

  Grandfathering means we lock in the deal you earned when you joined — and we don’t take it away later just because the house fills up or prices change for new people. For Tier 1 Kronies: you were among the first to pay and support the platform. Your first paid month in the first 1,000 locks Tier 1 for life on that email — including the locked $2/mo rate and 15% off retail merch & tickets on djskpromo.com. Recurring billing is not required to keep that seat. Later waves ($4 → $8 → $10) don’t bump early Tier 1 up. After that: Tier 2 seats 5,000 fans at $4/mo · 10% off retail. Tier 3 seats 10,000 fans at $8/mo · 5% off retail. Then new joiners pay $10/mo standard. Same sitewide rule — discounts apply to merch and tickets sold on djskpromo.com. In plain words: early loyalty gets protected. You’re kept under the monthly rate and discount you signed up under, not shoved into a worse tier after you already showed up and paid.

• Can I use Main Chat for free?+

  Anyone can watch Main Chat — free watching is part of the design. Writing in Main is Basic+ ($1/mo), including Kronie, Musician, Street Team, and Invite Elite. Supporters watch; Basic talks in Main. Topic and city rooms are full chat — Kronie+ ($2/mo) or Invite Elite. Basic can still watch those rooms.

• How do direct messages work?+

  Once you Connect or Support someone (either way), you can DM each other — including free Supporters. You can only message people you’re connected with. Founders/admins can message anyone on the platform. Chat rooms are separate: Supporters watch Main Chat but can’t write; Basic writes in Main; Kronie unlocks topic & city rooms. Open Messages from the nav or Message on a profile after you Connect. Want Messenger-style popups on your tablet while browsing? Turn on Message bubbles in Notification settings — when someone DMs you, their avatar pops up and you can tap straight into the chat.

• Can Kronies group or hide their connections?+

  Yes. Kronies get Connections in the nav. Create groups, add people you’ve Connected with, hide individuals from your public list, or hide the whole list. You’re still connected for DMs either way.

• What’s the difference between Connect and Support?+

  Connect is for regular members — it adds them to your network. Support is the same action on Musician profiles. Private Basic profiles may require a request they accept before you’re connected.

• What is Street Team?+

  Street Team is a limited free seat (about 10) with full Basic+Kronie perks in exchange for real network support. Apply at /street-team. Approved members get V.I.P. verified status and chat mod tools.

• Why stay subscribed each month?+

  By staying subscribed, you’re helping build @DJShayKapone’s fanbase for real — not a one-time click, a strong house that keeps filling. Your monthly plan is how the platform stays fueled. Recurring is recommended. One-month (no auto-renew) is available at the same price if you only want a single month of live perks — after that month entertainment perks lapse unless you buy again or go recurring. Your Tier 1 arena seat still locks on that first paid month (until 1,000 seats are claimed) even if you don’t renew. You can unsubscribe anytime from Billing & Plans. Nobody’s trapped. But staying on a monthly plan keeps your live perks on. If you cancel and the plan lapses: Kronie/Basic site perks get limited (no writing Main Chat as Basic, no topic/city chat as a Kronie, posting/profile power drops toward free Supporter). Connected DMs still work for Supporters. Musician promo profiles get hidden until payment is active again. You can still watch chat and hang for free — the full fanbase experience is for people who stay in. Your grandfathered Tier lock (monthly rate + discount on email) is earned on first payment; active entertainment and site perks need an active month. Extra push anytime: Donate.

• How do I manage billing or cancel?+

  Go to Billing & Plans. Subscriptions run through Stripe — update payment or cancel there. Recurring monthly is recommended so platform perks and features stay on. You can also pay one month with no auto-renew (same price for that month); after that month, perks lapse unless you buy again or switch to recurring. You can unsubscribe, but staying monthly helps build a strong fanbase and keeps your profile/perks from getting limited. Musician profiles are hidden while unpaid. Comp/Street Team seats are managed by the platform, not Stripe. Want to support without a plan change? Donate.

• Where does donate money go?+

  Donations help cover hosting and artist tools (SoundCloud, DistroKid, RepostExchange, LANDR, etc.). Kronie memberships are the steady fuel; donate is extra gas when you want to push harder. See the full breakdown and PayPal options on the Donate page.

• Can I make my profile private?+

  Basic and Kronie members (non-Musician) can turn on private profile in settings. Private profiles leave Join Train / open search; others need an accepted connection to view. Musician profiles stay public while paying.

• Who can post on the newsfeed?+

  Basic+ can post (text + photos). Supporters can like and repost but not compose posts. You can set a post to Public or Connected-only.

• What is the daily streak?+

  Every day you open DJSKPromo while logged in, your streak counts (Eastern time). Miss a day and it resets to 1 on your next visit. Hit streak milestones 3 → 7 → 14 → 30 → 60… and you bump back up on Join Train — same idea as heat, but powered by showing up. You’ll see your streak in the sidebar (and a compact 🔥 on mobile). Come back tomorrow — that’s the whole game.

• How does Join Train ranking and heat work?+

  Join Train shows newest public members first so fans can Connect / Support them. Your public heat score comes from site interaction: likes, reposts, replies on your posts, people who Support/Connect you, story hearts, and profile views (every 10 views = 1 heat). Hit heat milestones 5 → 10 → 20 → 40 → 80 → 160… and you bump back toward the top of the train — even if you joined earlier. Daily streaks also bump the train at 3 → 7 → 14 → 30… days. Keep interacting and climbing both ladders.

• Can I get alerts for messages but not new connections?+

  Yes. In Notification settings, turn on In-app, Email, and/or Push, then use Alert types to choose what counts: Messages, Connections & Support, connection requests, likes, reposts, replies, mentions, and story reactions. Example: Messages on, Connections off — you’ll get DM alerts without connection noise. Message bubbles (Messenger-style avatar popup) are a separate toggle for DMs while you’re browsing.

• How do I advertise or promote on DJSKPromo?+

  Use Contact Us for advertising and promotion inquiries — ads, sponsorships, and track pushes. Call 321-999-1971, email from the Contact page, or reach @djskpromo on X. Newsfeed ad space points there too.

• What’s included in Creative tools and house push?+

  The Creatives portal (tools, directory, and house push) is being built out and is not open for new signups yet. Kronie remains the open paid fanbase plan.

• What are stories heat and double-click hearts?+

  Kronies and Creatives can post 24-hour stories. Double-click (or double-tap) someone else’s story to send floating hearts — like TikTok Live. Each heart adds to that creator’s public heat score on their profile analytics (alongside likes, reposts, replies, supporters, and profile views). Connections can also leave emoji reactions on stories. Your own stories can’t receive your hearts — heat comes from the community.

• What is Social Hub on a Creative or musician profile?+

  Social Hub is where Creatives and musicians wire the links and presence that matter — social site integration, tour demand (for musicians), and Creative tools like One Product Push, promo cards, and download gateways. It’s meant to look legit and keep your push product + outbound links in one place. Creative SEO still runs off your public profile and /c/you share page so people can find you on Google and in network search.
